HJF is seeking a Strategic Communications Assistant  to support the Strategic Initiatives – Communications Department located at our Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, MD. HJF is a global, not-for-profit organization created to accelerate progress in military medicine. Our scientific, administrative, and program management services empower investigators and clinicians with the resources they need to find answers and drive change, while removing barriers to success. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Write, edit and review copy for internal and external communications vehicles.
  2. Support the collection and integration of review and final documents.
  3. Correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors in text, tables, and graphics.
  4. Assist in production efforts in print room and studio.
  5. Organize data in shared file server.
  6. Assist in project intake into FileMaker.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of AP Style, attention to detail, ability to interact with a variety of scientific programs and departments.

Minimum Education/Training Requirements: College student

Work Environment: Office
