HJF is seeking an Intern to support the Communications, Public Relations department, located at the HJF Home Office in Bethesda, Maryland. HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to Military Medical Research Programs.
The HJF Summer Intern Program offers undergraduate and recently graduated students a hands-on opportunity to work in their desired field while navigating a professional setting. Interns will take the lead on a project or process, supported by their manager, and will have opportunities to interact with HJF’s leadership as part of the summer intern professional development program. Interns must be on site 40 hours a week for the duration of the ten-week program, from the first week of June through August 7.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic knowledge of digital media such as social media and website content, attention to detail, ability to interact with a variety of scientific programs and departments.
Minimum Education: Rising junior, senior college student or recent graduate preferred. High School Diploma required.
Minimum Experience/ Training Requirements: 0 - 2 years of experience required.
Work Environment: Office environment.
