HJF is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Finance to support the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS), located in Bethesda, MD. HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to the CSTS.
The Senior Program Manager for Finance will provide program and financial management support to all research and educational activities of the CSTS. The largest ongoing study is the Study to Assess Risk and Resilience in Servicemembers-Longitudinal Study (STARRS-LS), a multi-phase epidemiological study that considers diverse psychosocial and neurobiological risk and protective factors for suicidal behaviors. This study is sponsored by the Department of Defense and is expected to receive approximately $35M over the next five years. It is being conducted at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, with participating sites including University of Michigan, the University of California San Diego, and Harvard University The incumbent will work with administrative staff of those institutions to develop
and maintain a coordinated budget.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with financial planning, analysis, and monitoring with large, complex projects. Experience with budget and implementation of multi-phase clinical research efforts. Grants management experience. Knowledge of NIMH multi-year grant administration and/or familiarity with military medical system desirable.
Minimum Education/Training Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a Master's of Business Administration required.
Minimum Experience: 6+ years related experience in program management with a concentration on budgetary monitoring and reporting responsibilities.
