HJF is seeking a part-time Event Venue Coordinator for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Science’s Center for Deployment Psychology, which is based in Rockville, Maryland. HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to CDP.
The selected candidate will assist in venue coordination for one- and two-day behavioral health educational workshops for civilian mental health providers as part of an expanding program in different states aimed at addressing the needs of National Guard members and their families.
Note: Highly qualified, experienced candidates living outside of the DC metro area may be considered for remote employment.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have knowledge of the federal budget process, office automation and event planning; the ability to work independently and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum Experience: 2 - 4 years related experience in event planning and/or educational event coordination/planning.
Work Environment: Office setting.
