HJF is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Gynecologic Oncology (GYN-COE) Department located at the Women's Health Integrated Research Center (WHIRC) in Annandale, VA. HJF provides scientific, technical, and programmatic support services to GYN-COE.
The Systems Administrator, designs, maintains and monitors Windows based systems and server virtualization services supporting research and administrative activities under the direction of the Executive Team who establishes and provides general guidelines and overall priorities. The Systems Administrator works as a member of the team; follows internal priorities, work schedules and goals and uses his/her own initiative and sound judgment. Work is evaluated based on results achieved towards established goals and requirements, timeliness, application of sound business practice and efficient use of resources.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum Education: High School diploma required. Vocational/Technical training or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum Experience/ Training Requirements: 0 – 2 years of relevant experience.
Licenses, Certification or Registration: Vendor training/certification preferred (e.g. MCSE) but not required.
Work Environment: Office.
