HJF is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support the Strategic Initiatives located at HJF Home Office in Bethesda, Maryland.

Under the direction of the Pricing Manager, supporting and developing corporate initiated budget/cost proposals (including contract proposals, cooperative and assistance agreements). Postition is integral to supporting HJF's growth of new business by helping to develop effective price to win strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. In coordination with other HJF colleagues, assist the Pricing Manager to review and analyze opportunities and gather financial and other data from a variety of sources needed to prepare winning cost proposals in response to a variety of Federal Government Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  2. Assist the Pricing Manager with all duties, including coordination with external pricing partners and subcontractors.
  3. Assist the Pricing Manager with negotiations to final award by preparing, maintaining and providing supporting documentation as needed.  
  4. Develop and maintain pricing reports, pricing models, budget templates and other relevant tools to improve efficiency, accuracy and performance.
  5. Stay informed about current pricing trends within the market and apply knowledge to help improve HJF's pricing capabilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Federal contract proposal pricing experience is a must. Experience in revenue, pricing or financial analysis role required.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics, quantitative analysis or equivalent is required. Master’s degree prefered. 

Minimum Experience/ Training Requirements: 3 -5 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment: Office.
