HJF is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP) within the Department of Military and Emergency Medicine (MEM) at the Uniformed Services University’s satellite office in Bethesda, Maryland. HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to CHAMP/MEM. 

This is a part-time (10 hours/week) position that entails triaging questions from CHAMP’s educational websites to the appropriate subject matter expert(s), maintaining a database of all questions and answers, and prepares quarterly or bi-annual reports on questions from all services of the military, and US Coast Guard.


  1. Triages Ask the Expert questions for Operation Supplement Safety and the Human Performance Resource Center.
  2. Maintains database for all Ask the Expert inquiries. Provides data and data analysis on database.
  3. Ensure answers are sent out within specified time period, and track.
  4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.; excellent communication skills; ability to type at least 60 wpm, efficiently use Microsoft Office products, and has a high attention to detail.

Minimum Education/Training Requirements: BS or BA

Minimum Experience: 0-2 years in similar position.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Controls:  The incumbent works under the direction of the CHAMP Director/Principal Investigator who determines objectives and the nature of desired results and gives advice on work in progress.
