HJF is seeking a Research Associate to support the Preventative Medicine Biometrics (PMB) Department located in San Antonio, Texas. HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to PMB.
The incumbent is responsible for research and/or development in collaboration with other scientific and technical partners. Exercises technical discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of mixed methods global health research that contribute to project strategies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of global public health; ability to meet deadlines of projects; good communication and analytical skills; bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak well enough for professional work)
Minimum Education/Training Requirements: Master’s degree in public health
Minimum Experience: 0 to 2 years of directly related research experience
Physical Capabilities: Requires long periods of sitting and standing
Required Licenses, Certification or Registration: Secret Clearance; US Passport
Work Environment: Office environment
