A part time Subject Matter Expert supporting the Business Development department.  Responsible for providing scientific and technical expertise in order to support new proposals in the infectious disease space. Will also provide expertise to help research opportunities and develop positioning in South East Asia.  

  1. Serve as a subject matter expert in the areas of infectious diseases and intelligence in SEA.
  2. Review existing proposal content and provide input into revisions and updates from a SME perspective.
  3. Advise leadership on strategic efforts in South East Asia based on research, intelligence gathered and subject matter expertise
  4. Expand the effectiveness of the Business Development Department and proposal team
  5. Communicate with leadership on an on-going basis  
  6. Work with Strategic Initiatives – Business Development team to assist with the ongoing efforts towards new work within the Infectious Diseases arena. 
  7. Perform managerial duties, ensuring deliverables and required training are completed in a timely manner.
  8. Perform other duties as needed.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  Knowledge of organizational objectives, office automation; ability to work completely independently as well as with a team; ability to use sound judgment in solving problems; ability to coordinate many complex systems and programs at the same time; excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of strategic communications processes; Experience coordinating and managing tasks. Experience working within or with a DoD strongly preferred.


Minimum Education/Training Requirements:  PhD in Infectious Diseases or Medical Degree with significant experience or Master’s degree in Public Health

Minimum Experience: 4 to 6 years.
