For more than 30 years, the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF) has committed to a singular mission: advancing military medical research. As a multinational, not-for-profit corporation authorized by Congress, HJF provides unparalleled scientific and management services to military medical research and education programs around the world.

We are dedicated to advancing military medical research. But our work reaches civilian medicine as well, for the benefit of all. HJF employees work together to move science forward.

Science

HJF is moving into exciting new areas of science such as personalized medicine, genomics and bioinformatics. Our goals are to:

Research Programs

HJF is authorized by Congress to support research and education at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and our customers also include other academic institutions, government programs and military medical endeavors.

We support hundreds of research projects, ranging from small bench-top projects to complex, multi-site programs. In the field and at our headquarters, our employees help advance studies in:
