HJF is seeking a Production Manager to support the Design Department located at the Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. Manages and directs clients and work requests, coordinates production, purchases supplies, and day-to-day administrative operations of the Design Department. Candidate must be a team-oriented, highly organized individual with excellent communication skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of general office procedures and production processes. Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Macintosh and PC computer proficiency with working knowledge of Filemaker Pro, MS Office software. Knowledge of Adobe CS is a plus.
Minimum Education/Training Requirements: A.A. Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience: 4 – 6 years’ experience of relevant work experience.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift and/or move items up to 25 lbs.
Supervisory Responsibilities/Controls: Incumbent reports to the Creative Director, Design Department. Incumbent supervises Design Department staff.
Work Environment: Office environment
