HJF IT Services designs, deploys, and manages information systems employed throughout Foundation supported administrative, laboratory, and clinical activities. The IT Support Analyst operates under the direction of the Manager, IT Services who establishes and provides general guidelines and overall priorities. The IT Support Analyst works independently; establishes internal priorities, work schedules and goals and uses initiative and sound judgment. Work is evaluated based on results achieved towards established goals and requirements, timeliness, application of sound business practice and efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plans, designs, deploys, supports and manages the full life cycle of end user computing environments, services and productivity applications.
  2. Supports/maintains endpoint computing management systems for I-IJF supported sites
  3. Works with supported organizations' departmental leaders to identify opportunities to improve their operations using information technology
  4. Works to troubleshoot and solve information systems related issues as they arise.

  5. Works to continually improve the reliability, availability and integrity of Foundation's information systems services as they relate to endpoint computing, fixed and mobile.

  6. Develops and maintains required technical and procedural documentation.

  7. Other related duties as assigned.

 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience and expertise configuring and supporting a mixed platform endpoint environment, including Microsoft Windows and MacOS fixed and mobile, with local and remote users.  Experience troubleshooting and analysis skills involving information systems and applications.  Excellent written and oral communication skills to work with a wide variety of personnel of varied technical knowledge.

Minimum Education/Training Requirements:  Bachelor's degree with 2 years of computer support experience.

Physical Capabilities:  Able to communicate verbally, ability to write and prepare documents in a variety of forms, ability to move within the work site, ability to travel to and move within supported sites.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Controls:  Incumbent reports to Technology Officer

Work Environment:  Office environment; some local travel is required (site to site).
