HJF is seeking a Data Integrity Analyst to support the Financial Planning Department located at the Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. The Data Integrity Analyst will develop functional Financial reports using Microsoft excel and other query tools; monitor and resolve data integrity issues; close Oracle Grant module on monthly basis; test patches and functionality of financial system recommend and implement business process changes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively monitor data integrity in the Oracle financial system. Develop reports and tools to assist in this process. 
  2. Perform the monthly system closing effort. Coordinate with Accounting for timely closing of Grants module and resolution of related errors.
  3. Represent the system module and Financial Planning on reporting issues; verify budget amounts on monthly online reports; assist in researching reporting problems.
  4. Recommend and implement business process changes to improve utilization of financial system module.
  5. Test proposed new processes and new patches applied to financial system module to confirm functionality and document outcomes.
  6. Research and resolve problems related to Oracle Grants module.  Interface with IT as appropriate to resolve issues.
  7. Hold periodic training on Oracle Grants module for new employees.
  8. Assist in other Financial Planning work processes as needed.  This may include, but not limited to, review of different entities set up in Oracle, and closing down of active programs.
  9. Other Duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  Working knowledge of Oracle EBS grant module a plus; ability to work independently and make decisions; ability to solve problems and work proactively with little guidance; experience with grants and contracts administration; ability to develop user-friendly reports; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with persons at all levels within the Foundation; familiarity with Foundation policies, organization and systems; demonstrated excellent customer service orientation.

Minimum Education/Training Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in business related field and be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products

Minimum Experience: 0-2 years professional experience

Physical Capabilities:  Prolonged sitting using a personal computer

Work Environment:  Office environment

Position reports to the Oracle Grants Training and Data Integrity Manager
