The Proposal Reviewer will assist the Research Initiatives Office in the technical review of a proposal in response to a DoD Program Announcement. The candidate must be proficient at reviewing, editing and critically evaluating research activities described in the technical narrative. As a subject matter expert, the selected candidate will compare HJF’s narrative to the the Program Announcement and play a key role identifying gaps and improving the technical content of HJF’s proposal. The candidate will provide written comments on drafts provided for review will also be available for meetings to discuss additional ideas and projects identified during the review cycle. Knowledge and experience in study design, data collection and data analysis for conducting research studies in infectious disease.
The Proposal Reviewer will report to the Proposal Manager and will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Minimum Education/Training: PhD in Biology or related field.
Minimum Experience: at least 10 years of experience in Epidemiology and Risk Management
