HJF is seeking an IT Support Administrator to support the IT Operations Department located at Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. The Desktop Support Admin will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support to. HJF employees. This includes support of Mac/PCs, Printers, Network connectivity, and Telephone and Audio Video collaboration systems. The candidate will also participate in team and individual projects as assigned by the Technology Officer.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Tier 2 IT support to HIP employees globally.
  2. Administer user accounts on. IT systems such as Active Directory, G-Suite, etc.
  3. Manage desktop support tickets ensuring, support SLAs are met
  4. Administer core Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Print and File shares
  5. Support Macs and Windows PCs in an enterprise environment
  6. Work with technology vendors to facilitate equipment repair or troubleshooting.
  7. Create technical documentation and training modules
  8. Maintain inventory of all hardware and software
  9. Work with members of IT staff on projects as required
  10. Support conference room Audio\Video systems as well as supporting monthly company meetings

 Required knowledge, skills and ability:

  • 1 - 3 years of Helpdesk support experience
  • Experience supporting MacOS and Windows 7, 8.x, 10 in an enterprise environment
  • Experience using Google Apps (Google Mail, Google Drive, Google. Calendar, etc.)
  • Experience with RDP, Webex, Go-To-Meeting
  • Imaging Apple Macs and Windows PC

Minimum Education/Training Requirements: Associate's degree with 1 to 2 years of computer support experience.

Physical Capabilities: Able to communicate verbally, ability to write and prepare documents in a variety of forms, ability to move within the work site, ability to travel to and move within supported sites.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Controls: Incumbent reports to Director of IT Support

Work Environment: Office environment; some local travel is required (site to site).
