HJF is seeking a Subaward Specialist to support the Office of Sponsored Programs located at the Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. Position works directly with investigators, site administrators, collaborators, grant specialists of all levels and other Foundation departments to manage, develop and execute subawards as well as to assist with the post award monitoring activities related to subawards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Subawards under Federal Assistance Awards; strong interpersonal and computer skills in both Microsoft Excel and Word; Customer oriented; ability to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple priorities and ability to oversee the smooth function and management of subaward.
Capable of executing multiple tasks, responding to multiple demands, considering multiple alternatives and setting priorities to accomplish mission while maintaining harmonious relationships; ability to use sound judgement in solving problems; ability to coordinate many complex systems; time possession of excellent communication an interpersonal skills.
Minimum Education/Training Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Experience: 4 or more years experience in Sponsored Programs/Research Administration Services.
Physical Capabilities: Requires long hours of sitting and working at a computer.
Work Environment: Office environment.
