The Opportunity

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for leading the overall strategy, execution and management of the technical investments and operations for HJF. In addition, the CIO is responsible for the successful delivery of IT services and operations which enable the enterprise to achieve its goals and objectives in an increasingly dynamic and changing business landscape. The ideal candidate will be an executive who can simultaneously track and manage to the level of detail required to successfully lead the information technology and operations management of HJF while contributing to the company’s overall development and direction.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans for the application of information technology which scale to support HJF objectives.
  • Develop, document, and review goals and metrics for all IT operations and personnel.
  • Develops and manages budgets for information technology initiatives, including costs and timing of IT project delivery.
  • Oversee contingency planning and IT security and compliance by establishing controls and processes in support of data security, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Establish, promote and foster project management methodology standards within the organization.
  • Review overall project resource demands across the entire enterprise to ensure technology and operations meet capacity needs and demands.
  • Manages the review and negotiation of major IT vendor agreements.
  • Create and communicate the technology plan and strategy to partners, management, employees and customers.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of increasingly technical work experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Must have substantial leadership experience in formulating, planning, leading, directing and controlling a complex, broad, and highly technical functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, methodologies, and resource management principles.
  • Wide range of technical understanding across IT disciplines.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and execute deadline driven projects with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize multiple and competing projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement a technology empowered business strategy.
