Come Work at HJF!
Established by the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU), the Center for Global Health Engagement (CGHE) works to lead, integrate and synchronize the University’s contributions to Department of Defense (DoD) global health engagement and national security objectives by providing a hub for GHE thought leadership and knowledge, strategic communications and outreach, operational support, research, and capability integration of education, training and planning. HJF provides direct scientific, technical and programmatic support services to CGHE.
The Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst supports CGHE’s implementation of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Cooperative Biological Engagement Program’s (CBEP) activities which are designed to improve biological safety and security, strengthen biological risk management, and enhance surveillance for especially dangerous and emerging pathogens that may threaten public health. CGHE and CBEP share a common goal of facilitating medical and public health education and research within US DoD mission areas to bolster global health security activities. CGHE serves as a primary implementing partner for programmatic work in select Areas of Responsibility as well as a third-party assessor for other CBEP initiatives.
Under the direction of the CBEP Program Manager and Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation (AME) Component Lead, the AME Analyst provides technical input to research design and implementation as well as operations and logistics support.
